Homeowner

There are a number of schemes available for homeowners, which can support the installation of energy efficiency improvements in your home. The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is available to those who are eligible and provides a contribution towards the cost of insulation and heating products into your home. If your home does not have adequate insulation, you will be spending more money than you need to on heating your home. Depending on the type of property you live in, your home could benefit from cavity wall insulation, or solid wall insulation which includes internal wall insulation and external wall insulation. If your home does not have wall insulation, we can carry out a survey and discuss the options available to you. Making sure you have adequate loft insulation is also really important as up to 40% of your homes heat can be lost through the roof. Whether you have converted your loft space into living space and need room in roof insulation, or you need standard loft insulation, we have products, trained teams and the knowledge and expertise to help you. Because we have access to ECO funding, if you are in receipt of certain benefits, you could qualify for a contribution towards the cost of a new boiler or electric storage heaters. To benefit from this funding, your boiler must be broken or not working properly, or at least one of your electric storage heaters must be broken.
